Our bid support services help our clients seek and win contracts scaling from small to large. Our services are customizable to the client needs in addition to the contract requirements. Projects are tailored each time but can include some or all of the following elements – split into three categories:


Category One | Bid Strategy

The aim of this phase is to develop a bid strategy that takes into account tactical and strategic factors to ensure you have the best chance of being successful.

1. Bid Strategy

Synthesizing the requirements and developing a bid strategy and win themes to make you stand out from the competition.

2. Market Analysis

Understanding the market, you’re operating in and the likely competition you’ll be up against. This includes assessing your respective strengths and weaknesses in comparison to your competition.

3. Go/No-Go

We will agree a set of criteria to help you make the critical go/no-go decision to bid, balancing risk and reward factors.

4. Partnerships

Identify potential partners to strengthen your offer.

Category Two | Service Design

In this phase, we work with the subject matter experts from within your team to develop service models that meet the contract specifications.

1. Service Modelling

Developing the service model to meet the needs of the commissioner’s specification and deliver intended outcomes.

2. Workforce Modelling

Developing the workforce structure to deliver your new service. This activity may be supported by demand and capacity modelling to ensure that the right shape of team is developed, with sufficient capability and capacity to deliver the service.

3. Financial Modelling

Building the financial model that will promote your bid, reflecting both the workforce model and any non-pay costs.

4. Mobilization and Transformation Planning

Detailing the steps to be taken, and resourcing requirements to successfully go-live with the new service and transform delivery in-line with your service model.

Category Three | Bid Production

The aim of this phase is to pull together the strongest possible bid. This includes developing the narrative answers, visuals and other documentation requested within the bid, to make sure that the submitted bid complies with the contract requirements and scores as highly as possible.

1. Project Management

We will ensure that all elements of the bid are developed to time. This may include the management of the procurement portal and communications with the contract officer.

2. Bid Writing

Developing consistent and compelling bid narratives that deliver on the contract’s specification, while emphasizing your win themes.

3. Bid Review, Refinement and Finalization

Taking editorial control of responses, to ensure that they score as strongly as possible.

4. Presentation and Negotiation Support

This may include coaching your team in preparation for presentation/negotiation, and/or the development of handouts or presentations.
